Brines Farm sells potted pawpaw (Asimina triloba) from the tree nursery on its farm in Webster Township, near Dexter, Michigan. Shannon Brines started the farm on his family's land in 2004. It grows vegetables, fruit and nuts, and its state-licensed and inspected nursery leans toward perennials for edible landscapes, native to North America where possible. The farm's list notes that pawpaw needs two or more plants to cross-pollinate. Orders go in by email or at its Ann Arbor Farmers Market stalls on Saturday mornings, and the farm also sells on spring nursery weekends and at plant sales such as the Native Plant Expo.
