About this orchard
Docville Farm is the Meraux Foundation's home base in St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana, and the host ground of the annual Gulf South Pawpaw Symposium. The farm is reached through a tunnel of oaks. The 2024 symposium drew more than 125 growers, chefs, and horticulturists from across the Gulf Coast, most going home with trees to plant. The pawpaw work is a foundation program rather than a walk-in nursery, so the symposium is the way in.
