About this orchard
EarthDance Organic Farm School sells its September pawpaws at a pay-what-you-can farm stand on the farm and at its booth at the Ferguson Farmers Market. The teaching farm works 14 certified-organic acres in Ferguson, Missouri, ground it calls the oldest organic farm west of the Mississippi, in production without chemicals since 1883. Alongside the produce, EarthDance trains beginning farmers and gardeners through its Organic Farm School programs. The pawpaw crop is small enough to sell out weekly; a recent harvest came to about 800 pounds.
