About this orchard
Georgia Pawpaws sells tree-ripened pawpaw fruit from its own North Georgia orchards at an annual Atlanta sale running late July into early September. The project started with 2019 road trips to pawpaw festivals in Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia; the trees planted that year now supply the harvest. The orchards grow named cultivars selected over decades of breeding, Shenandoah, Susquehanna, and KSU Atwood among them, rather than wild seedlings. Signups go through a waiting list ahead of each season's sale.
