About this nursery
Helia Native Nursery, part of the 109-acre Sky Meadow Farm in West Stockbridge, Massachusetts, includes pawpaw on its master list of the native plants it may carry. From a valley between the Berkshire hills and the Taconic ridge, it wild-harvests native seed, keeps native genotypes in a seed bank and propagates without chemicals in organic potting material and farm topsoil. The nursery sells plants only on scheduled open days, when buyers also pick up orders; its online shop sells seed. Landscapers and buyers planning a large order can request plants by email.
