Long Creek Homestead hosts an annual PawPaw Fest each September at the entrance to Gambrill State Park near Frederick, Maryland, a gathering now in its second decade with cultivar tastings, fruit and tree sales, and workshops. The 25-acre permaculture homestead is the home ground of Michael Judd, edible-landscape designer and author of For the Love of PawPaws. Beyond festival day, Judd runs pawpaw tasting and orchard tours on the property and teaches pawpaw growing through books, online courses, and workshops.
