About this nursery
The George O. White State Forest Nursery near Licking has supplied Missouri landowners with low-cost native seedlings since 1947, native pawpaw among them, for reforestation, windbreaks, erosion control, and wildlife habitat. Pawpaw sells in bundles of 10 or increments of 25 at well under a dollar a seedling plus a flat handling charge. Ordering runs online from September through mid-April, and pawpaw is one of the species that can sell out within days of opening.
