Owl Creek Farm, a farm and tree nursery in the cross-timbers of Oklahoma at Stonewall, puts pawpaw forward as a low-maintenance, spray-free native fruit. The owners started the nursery in 2019 to supply their family, community, and fellow permaculture growers with trees, fruit, and nuts, and they keep herbicides and pesticides to a minimum or skip them altogether. Stock includes Oklahoma Native and Ultra-Select pawpaw seedling lines plus grafted pawpaws. Orders ship, and chestnuts, pecans, persimmons, and sassafras fill out the catalog.
