Treeborn harvests fresh Michigan pawpaws for a short online sales window each fall, shipping second-day air outside the Great Lakes region; frozen pawpaw puree stays available longer. The company grew out of Michigan chestnut orchards, founded in 2015 by three friends including the late Michigan State University chestnut researcher Dennis Fulbright, and it added pawpaw harvesting and pureeing in 2019. Chestnut flour, chips, and other Michigan tree-crop products round out the catalog.
