About this nursery
West Farm Nursery is Charles West's four-decade project turning a former conventional crop farm in Branchburg into wildlife habitat anchored by a pawpaw orchard and a small hybrid chestnut grove. About 100 pawpaw trees of more than 30 cultivars grow here, and the nursery propagates grafted trees for sale, including new Neal Peterson releases and a long special-order list for the rarer names. Trees are pickup only, paid by cash or check, with scionwood offered in late winter and orders placed by early spring.
