Marshmallow pawpaw is the sweetest of three freestone selections, with a tropical melon-like flavor and a trace of banana, and a soft, chiffon-leaning texture; because the fruit has no seed sack, the seeds lift right out and it freezes exceptionally well. Grower opinion is mixed: in one head-to-head comparison a grower judged it and its sister freestones merely okay next to better varieties. It ripens mid-season.

Marshmallow, Honeydew, and Cantaloupe aren't worth growing. They are ok but others are far better.
