About this nursery
Beautiful Beginnings Nursery is Rachel Palacios's urban permaculture mail-order nursery in Danville, specializing in pawpaws, persimmons, mulberries, and figs grown with all-natural, low-waste practices on a small city footprint. Rachel started it in 2023 after a decade owning and operating the well-known Peaceful Heritage Nursery, and it is one of the growers licensed to propagate Kentucky State University's trademarked pawpaw cultivars. A portion of proceeds supports local organizations working with survivors of domestic violence.
