Wild and Heirloom
Taylor is a Wild and Heirloom variety, bred by Corwin Davis, late season, ripening the first week of October in Michigan.
Taylor pawpaw is a Corwin Davis selection from wild Michigan stock, with mild flavor, yellow flesh and green skin, borne in heavy clusters of up to seven fruit. It is a small fruit, and published grower taste discussion is limited; note that an unrelated pawpaw also called Taylor appears in older records. It ripens late, into the first week of October in Michigan.
PawpawMap found no Taylor pawpaw trees in stock at all 3 nurseries it confirmed as of Aug 9, 2026. 3 nurseries ship the variety; ask to be told when stock returns.
